In the artistic association “Jack of Diamonds” the role of the silent ideologue belonged to P. P. Konchalovsky - an intelligent and talented painter.
He skillfully combined in his work the spontaneity of a picturesque impulse with a well-developed thought-out system. During his long life, the artist was passionate about the arts. He loved the process of painting. As evidenced by his contemporaries, Koncholovsky was a very lively person, and this vitality was reflected in his works.
Konchalovsky often lived around Moscow, where he painted his wonderful landscapes with special pleasure and great love, inspired by the grandeur and beauty of Russian nature. He was fond of forest and garden landscapes, in which he often used green and yellow-green scales.
