APPEAR IN THE PAINTING!
The presentation of the \u201cIn the Virtual World of a Masterpiece\u201d program will take place on September 26 at 2 pm within the framework of European Heritage Days at the Yerevan Museum of Russian Art.
The program envisages presentation of Boris Grigoriev\u2019s painting \u201cZoo\u201d through VR technology. The viewers will find themselves \u201cinside\u201d the work (in a pre-created 3D environment based on the painting) through virtual reality glasses, \u201cwalk\u201d there, \u201cmeet\u201d the heroes of the painting, get acquainted with the history of the work.
This is the first experience in the history of RA museums, where the visitor appears \u201cinside\u201d the painting.
Through virtual glasses the viewer will \u201cwalk\u201d inside the \u201cZ\u043e\u043e\u201d created by great Russian artist Boris Grigoriev; he will see the park both with the artist\u2019s and his own eyes, will have the opportunity to listen to the history of the painting in his preferred language (Armenian, English, Russian).
The mission of the Russian Art Museum is to become an educational, cultural and interactive entertainment center for society\u2019s different segments through the presentation of its collection\u2019s various masterpieces. The application based on Virtual Reality technology introduced in the museum exhibition will present the works of art in a new way.
